How can we help?

Email is the fastest way to reach us, and a person reads every message. The docs cover the rest. Whichever you pick, you are talking to the people who build the product.

Email support

Anything about your account, a sandbox that will not start, billing, or a bug. Include your org name and, if it is about a sandbox, its name or ID.

Things people ask us most

Am I billed while a sandbox is sleeping?
No. Usage accrues while a sandbox is running. Put it to sleep and runtime charges stop with it; the snapshot keeps your filesystem and session so you can wake it later.
My sandbox will not start or attach. What should I send you?
The sandbox name or ID, your org, roughly when it happened, and the exact error text. If you were using the CLI, the output of the failing command is the fastest way for us to find it.
Where do I download the CLI and desktop app?
From the Downloads page. The install command puts remote on your path; the desktop app is available there when it ships.
How do I manage seats, billing, or limits for my team?
In the console’s billing page. Pro orgs share one bill, one set of limits, and one place to add or remove people.
Can I bring my own base image?
Pro and Enterprise orgs can publish custom base images and repository templates. Bring the Dockerfile you already have; we can help you turn it into an image.
How do I delete a sandbox, or my account?
Delete a sandbox from the console or with the CLI. Deleting a sandbox removes its snapshot too, so put it to sleep instead if you might come back to it. To close your account, email support@remotehost.ai from the address on the account.
I found a security issue.
Email support@remotehost.ai with “Security” in the subject and we will get back to you directly. Please do not post details publicly until we have.
